The Takhar University International Journal of Language and Literature is a dynamic academic platform dedicated to the exploration and advancement of linguistic and literary studies. It publishes articles from the researchers semiannually. This journal publishes articles in multiple languages, including Dari, Pashto, English, Arabic, and Uzbeki, catering to a diverse scholarly community. The journal encompasses a wide range of fields, drawing contributions from various departments (English, Arabic, Dari, Pashto and Uzbeki) related to language and literature. It welcomes submissions that reflect the rich tapestry of literary and linguistic research in the aforementioned languages. The journal welcomes article of the following types:

TUIJLL provides immediate and free access to all published content, supporting the principle that research should be freely available to the public to promote global knowledge sharing. Authors are not charged any publication fees.

Sponsorship and Publisher

The Takhar University International Journal of Language and Literature is sponsored fully by Takhar University. There will not be any submission fee to authors, but it will cost per the policy of the Research, Compilation and Translation  Directorate in publishing the articles; that is , the fee of publishing will be 5000 Afg for per paper. 

Journal History

Founded in 2024, TUIJLL is one of the first academic journals in northeastern Afghanistan dedicated exclusively to language and literary studies. It seeks to promote academic engagement both nationally and internationally.
