چکیده

The present study was conducted to evaluate the effects of classroom principles-based active teaching methods on primary school students in Musahi District high schools. The study aimed to examine the impact of these methods on students' academic achievement, classroom engagement, social skills, and learning quality. This research was applied in purpose, descriptive-survey in method, and quantitative in approach. The statistical population consisted of primary school teachers in Musahi District high schools. Data were collected using a researcher-developed questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS version 24.

The findings indicated that the quality of implementing active teaching methods (M = 4.12), students' classroom engagement (M = 4.05), teachers' instructional competence (M = 4.15), and the impact on learning quality (M = 4.10) were all above the average level. Furthermore, group activities, classroom discussions, and practical learning significantly enhanced students' academic achievement, social skills, and collaborative abilities. However, insufficient professional training for teachers, limited instructional resources, and time constraints were identified as major challenges to the effective implementation of active teaching methods.

In conclusion, classroom principles-based active teaching is an effective instructional approach for improving the quality of learning. Therefore, strengthening teachers' professional capacity and providing adequate instructional resources are essential for the successful implementation of these teaching methods.
